Each suite has its own full washroom, kitchenette equipped with a refrigerator, cable TV services in living and bedroom areas, large windows and much more. We took the best of the residences, homes and apartments throughout North America and combined them into an outstanding community.

We are located in the Killarney neighbourhood of south Vancouver, BC. Banking, prescriptions, and a doctor's office are within easy walking distance. New housing is being built on Vancouver Island, BC (British Columbia).

About Us

Our founder, John H. Pickford, was a man of fortitude. Fuelled by the conviction that everyone deserves to live in a safe and comfortable home, he established a non-profit society known as the Baptist Housing Society of BC in 1965.

Since then, we have been providing quality housing communities for seniors. As a member of the Baptist Housing Society of BC, Shannon Oaks is dedicated to carrying on this tradition. Why? Because we care. Because we want you to live well.

We are also part of a larger group of societies known as Baptist Housing Ministries. All of us are committed to our founder's vision of providing excellent care and quality communities to seniors and families in BC.
